Our Story
This story begins with two people on two separate journeys whose paths eventually came together in the tiny majestic town of Boulder, Utah. With a new baby on the way, the decision was made to stay and create a life here. In 2014 Magnolia Grace Apperson was born and Magnolias Street Food was established.
With their first kitchen, a 14ft double axel trailer, they started cooking food and making a name for themselves. Three years later Magnolias Street Food changed form to a 1993 aqua-colored Chevy Bluebird Bus and is now cooking 7 days a week (March-November), teaching classes, and hosting and catering events.
The intention was set with passions surrounding food: to provide our community and its visitors with a variety of deliciously beautiful Street Foods you can take away in your hand or sit and enjoy under the shade of the cottonwoods. Magnolias strives to use ingredients from local gardens, farmers and ranchers helping to preserve food culture, support our town and protect our environment.
Since those early beginnings, we have opened a sister restaurant, Magnolia’s Kitchen in Escalante. As well as took over a local bed and breakfast and transformed it into The Loubird Inn.
